The School of Leadership and Professional Studies provides undergraduate academic programs supporting career-focused and non-traditional students, as well as graduate programs focused on developing students to be effective leaders in a variety of education and non-education professional settings.

Organizational Supervision
The Associate Degree in Organizational Supervision is a two year program that quickly prepares students for employment in a variety of professional settings. Graduates may also complete a baccalaureate degree in several related areas.
Interdisciplinary Studies
Interdisciplinary Study means to explore emerging relationships between several fields. Within one emphasis area, students seek out courses that can better prepare them for answering future questions that cannot be satisfactorily addressed using single methods or linear disciplinary approaches. By concentrating on related areas of study combined with personal interests or prior experience, each individual can realize significant overlaps of integration with new understanding.
ASSOCIATE OF ARTS IN BUSINESS: REAL ESTATE CONCENTRATION
Students will gain knowledge of accounting principles, marketing, supervisory management, computer system, and communication as well as real estate law, finance, and appraisal.
INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES
Interdisciplinary Studies offers programs and courses that provide students with the tools for academic success and the flexibility to design a degree path that enhances their learning experiences and career opportunities.
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Organizational Leadership programs will equip students with the knowledge necessary to lead in a variety of professional settings. WKU offers an undergraduate certificate, a minor in Organizational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
WORKFORCE ADMINISTRATION
Workforce Administration (WFA) is a professional bachelors degree program developed for Community/Technical College graduates, adult learners, and career-focused students. WFA compliments your prior coursework and prepares you for supervisory and managerial responsibilities in a variety of industries.
ADVANCED PROGRAMS IN EDUCATION LEADERSHIP
The School of Leadership and Professional Studies offers professional advancement with Kentucky State Level Endorsements and Certifications.

Master of Arts in Education in Instructional Leadership, School Principal
The Master of Arts in Education, Instructional Leadership, School Principal program requires 30 hours of coursework and leads to eligibility for initial principal certification (Level 1, KP1). Completion of the program also makes a candidate eligible for recommendation for Rank 2 or Rank 1 (if the candidate already holds Rank 2).
ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Organizational Leadership programs will equip students with the knowledge necessary to lead in a variety of professional settings. WKU offers a graduate certificate and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership.
EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP DOCTORAL PROGRAM
The EdD program houses over 100 students who are pursuing skills and credentials to become the next generation of leaders in various education-based organizational settings. Our unique course offerings support the busy lifestyles of our students, most of whom remain fully employed even as they work through the program experiences.
