Graduate Studies - Academic Common Market
Academic Common Market (ACM)
The Academic Common Market (ACM) provides students the opportunity to study majors not available in their home state at reduced tuition rates.
To be eligible for the Academic Common Market, students must:
- Be a resident of a state in the SREB (Southern Regional Education Board)
- Select a program eligible for residents of the student's home state
- Apply and be admitted to an eligible ACM program at a participating institution
- Be certified as a resident of the student's home state by contacting their state ACM coordinator (contact information available on the ACM site)
Upon WKU's notification by the state coordinator that a student is a certified ACM participant, the student's record will be adjusted to reflect their ACM tuition status. In order to continue to receive the ACM tuition rate, the student must maintain the approved ACM program of study as their primary major. A list of qualifying programs is available on the ACM site.
