About SGA
The Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University is more than just a student organization. We are passionate about all our students here on campus and focus extensively on advocating on their behalf. At WKU, we believe that all students--regardless of who they are or where they come from--deserve a university community that values and respects their voices and lives. Whether it is campus safety, college affordability, campus sustainability, campus inclusion, or other endeavors necessary to enhance the quality of student life, WKU SGA is committed to always finding ways to progress forward in order to make WKU the best and most welcoming university it can possibly be on behalf of all Hilltoppers.
"We, the students of Western Kentucky University, in order to form a legitimate body of students to address student needs, interests, and opinions toward all aspects of university life, promote student well-being and involvement, encourage diversity and tolerance among all groups and individuals, and to create proper channels through which student opinions, recommendations, and requests may be expressed to university administrators, do hereby ordain and establish this Constitution of the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University."
WKU SGA strives to put all HIlltopper's wellbeing above all and to address any concerns students may have. We encourage students to join us at our weekly meetings every Tuesday at 5:00pm in the SGA Chambers to ensure that their voices are heard, as we value all feedback from the student body!
