The Department of Physics & Astronomy of Western Kentucky University (WKU) invites applications for a tenure track position in the area of Experimental Condensed Matter/Materials Physics. WKU is forming a university wide initiative in the area of nanoscience and nanotechnology of which this position will be associated. This position includes a start up package and more experienced candidates may be considered for appointment at the Associate Professor level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or a related discipline, a strong desire to teach and mentor students, and should have demonstrated the potential to conduct a vigorous and significant research program.
