Summer breezes
Summer time is tornado season! Be sure to check for any WKU Weather Alerts if the weather outside is fright'ning.
WKU's Engineering Programs
The Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering Programs at WKU are all ABET-accredited. We have joint programs with the University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky.
WKU Engineering Advisory Boards
WKU Engineering is proud to enjoy the strong support of industry and community leaders in the Bowling Green area. Through our Advisory Boards, these individuals provide guidance as our programs continuously grow to meet the needs of our students.

Projects
Our students work on projects at every level in their program of study, from line-following robots and wobbling steam engine models in their first engineering classes, to industrially-sponsored projects and national and regional competitions in their capstone classes.
Through these powerful educational experiences, WKU engineers not only master technical skills and knowledge, but they also acquire and hone professional skills such as teamwork, communication, and ethical professional behavior.
