Research
Ms. Henson is a CPA with experience in public accounting. She worked for Ernst & Young, LLP before coming to WKU. Ms. Henson teaches the financial and managerial principles courses as well as advanced managerial accounting for non-accounting majors.

Ms. Henson serves as the faculty advisor for the freshman honor society, Phi Eta Sigma. She is the assistant advisor for the accounting fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi as well as co-advisor for the business honorary, Beta Gamma Sigma. She is the winner of the 2001-2001 Lou Prida Student Service Award and the 2004-2005 Outstanding Student Advisement Award for the Gordon Ford College of Business. Ms. Henson has collaborating with Dr. Jan Colbert on two articles included in publications by the Kentucky Society fo CPAs in Fall 2005.
