Prospective High School Student Groups (9th-12th grade)
High school is the time to visit college campuses to find your right fit. A typical high school group visit will consist of an admissions presentation and a walking campus tour. Because space is limited, we are only able to accommodate one group visit on campus per day. If you would like to schedule additional information sessions aside from the admissions presentation provided, please see the contact information below for key academic colleges and student service departments.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your day on campus!
Elementary & Middle School Student Groups (1st-8th grade)
It’s never too early to begin making your college decision! Feel free to visit campus on a day and time that works best for your group. If we are notified in advance, and have staff available, an admissions staff member will meet your group when you arrive on campus to give a brief overview of WKU. We encourage you to then explore campus through our Self-Guided Walking Tour. Please have one chaperone per every 20 students.
Eating on Campus
A popular spot to eat lunch on campus is in the Downing Student Union (DSU). DSU houses The Fresh Food Company and the DSU Food Court. The Fresh Food Company is an all-you-care-to-eat restaurant that provides our guests with a variety of dining options. The DSU Food Court houses Papa Johns, Chick-fil-A, and Steak ‘n Shake!
Please contact the WKU Restaurant Group at 270-745-2416 or email@example.com prior to your visit to set up your lunch experience. The WKU Restaurant Group can also discuss any discounts that may be available for your group.
Parking on Campus
WKU’s Parking & Transportation Office requires all buses unload and load students by L.T. Smith Stadium on Avenue of Champions. Buses may park in the Russellville Rd. West Extension Lot. A map of bus unloading/loading and parking can be found here.

To schedule a group visit, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 270-745-2551.
While planning your visit, please keep in mind:
- All campus tours are a walking format, so please have your students dress accordingly. Check out the weather in Bowling Green for your day on campus prior to departure.
- Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled tour/session/overview for a bathroom break if needed.
- To avoid disruptions, elementary and middle school groups will not have the opportunity to go inside of classrooms or residential buildings.
