Why did you choose to attend WKU?

From the moment I heard about WKU, I knew it was the perfect university for me. And the first time I stepped on campus, I knew that I had found my new home. The campus is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and the academics are top notch. There are so many opportunities available to students at WKU. I encourage everyone to visit, to join the WKU family, and to let the WKU spirit become a part of you.

My favorite WKU tradition and/or memory is:

My first football game! A large group from my residence hall went to the game together. At the game, Big Red "ate" people's heads, crowd surfed, and danced (just a typical day in the life of Big Red), our team played hard, we sang the fight song, and waved our Red Towels. Game days (and even regular days on the Hill) are filled with an energy that just cannot be surpassed.

The number one thing that I encourage future students to check out is:

All of the resources WKU offers. We have offices on campus that help with advising, paper writing, studying, and even job searching! There's also our multi-level library and our 24 hour student computer lab. We've got all of these services available for students to use. Don't be nervous! Just check them out!

What is your favorite spot on WKU's campus?

My favorite spot is definitely the front of Van Meter Hall. The view from Van Meter is absolutely beautiful. When you're standing at the top of the Van Meter steps, you are actually very close to the highest point in Bowling Green, which is on our campus. There's also the fountain, which makes being up at Van Meter very relaxing.
