My name is Doug Corbitt and I was born and raised in Bowling Green. I am a non-traditional
student pursuing a degree in Accounting. My many years of management experience
have afforded me the opportunity to be introduced to people from varied cultures,
nationalities, and walks of life. I have lived and worked in many locations, including
Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Indiana, and Georgia to name a few. I
am honored to have been chosen to be a part of the Best Expectation Programs and the
AARC team. I hope that my years and life experiences will be useful to the programs.
My name is Richard Rose and I was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. I was raised in
a military family so I've lived all over, from Frankfurt, Germany to Leavenworth,
Kansas. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Kansas. I am pursuing a
Graduate degree in Student Affairs so I'm very excited to be working in the AARC.
Additionally, I have worked as an Academic Advisor at two other universities and I'm
looking forward to utilizing my experience and working with students here at Western
My name is Kelsi Webb and I am from Crestview Hills, Kentucky. I graduated Summa Cum
Laude from WKU in May of 2011 with undergraduate majors in International Business
and Spanish. I am currently pursuing a second undergraduate degree in Elementary Education.
On campus, I am very involved with the student ministry Christian Student Fellowship.
I joined The Learning Center in the fall of 2012 and I am excited to be working as
the Undergraduate Assistant for the Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS). I look forward
to helping students, PASS leaders, and faculty make the most of this invaluable program
in which students have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of difficult
course material in a supplemental learning environment.
