Breathe Exhibit

breathe: A Global Portrait

This exhibit is meant to inspire us to think of ourselves as part of a global family, in which we each, through our customs and cultures, bring to the table a distinct and integral presence.

breathe is a collection of over thirty images made around the world by WKU photojournalism students, staff, and faculty, brought together by the Academic Advising & Retention Center as a study in portraiture on a global scale. Countries represented in this exhibit include China, France, Grande Comore, Guatemala, Italy, Jordan, Mongolia, Morroco, Netherlands, Scotland, Sudan, Uganda, United States of America, and Vietnam. The images were contributed by the following photographers: Melanie H. Blanding, Tim Broekema, Kurt Fattic, Layne B. Greene, James H. Kenney, Edward A. Linsmier, Chad A. Stevens, Aubrey E. Videtto, Nathan Weber, and Sarah Wright.
