Campus and Community members can learn the steps to having a $100 Solution project by attending the Steps to a $100 Solution workshop. Participants can come anytime during the 2-4:30pm time period to visit each of the eight stations. Average time span is 30 minutes.
The $100 Solution™ utilizes these five principles of service learning to answer a central question: with this $100 bill, what can I do to enhance your quality of life? It teaches students to ask what they can do rather than just assuming, demonstrates that many social problems exist that can be solved with small amounts of money, and empowers them to make a difference in their community.
