Disability Resource Initiative provides independent living skills training, peer support, advocacy, personal care attendant program, computer training program, Neighbor to Neighbor transportation program, and information and referrals for disabled persons. Meeting space is available to not-for-profit organizations. Call for availability. DRI accepts donations of medical equipment in good condition.

Provides personal and family support to low-vision and blind individuals, independent living skills, advocacy, resources for all types of low-vision and blind related devices, products, and services, and a very liberal grant program for obtaining such products and services. We hold regular meetings featuring exhibitions and the latest information on the availability of new products and services, fun activities, and strong, positive support for people losing their eyesight, people with low-vision, and people who are totally blind of all ages from young children and their families and older seniors.
