Disability Resource Initiative provides independent living skills training, peer support, personal and systems advocacy, computer training program, and information and referrals for disabled persons from a vast data base of available service providers and community assets. Also, DRI does in-home safety recommendations for persons with disabilities, ADA compliance surveys for businesses, schools, and government entities, and basic adaptation surveys and recommendations for prospective employers. Meeting space is available to not-for-profit organizations. Call for availability. DRI accepts donations of medical equipment in good condition. DRI is the site for Red Cross Nurse's Aide Training offering day and evening classes. We offer free web-hosting for approved non-profits.

Evergreen Life Services has provided community-based care and support for many people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and elderly services, over the years. By offering services, such as assisted and independent living support, skill enhancement, behavioral support, health and wellness, respite care, and vocational training, several of our clients have shared their success stories with us, and we would like to share their testimonials with you.

SCKCB provides personal and family support to low-vision and blind individuals, independent living skills, advocacy, resources for all types of low-vision and blind related devices, products, and services, and a very liberal grant program for obtaining such products and services. We hold regular meetings featuring exhibitions and the latest information on the availability of new products and services, fun activities, and strong, positive support for people losing their eyesight, people with low-vision, and people who are totally blind of all ages from young children and their families and older seniors.
