Service Description: Kentucky Heartland Outreach (KHO) mission is to provide safe, warm, and dry homes to homeowners who cannot afford to make much needed home repairs. KHO searches for low-income residents in Central Kentucky and provides them with home repairs at no cost to the homeowner. KHO performs a wide variety of rehabilitation work including but not limited to roofing, painting, vinyl siding, and the building of decks, porches, wheelchair ramps and handrails. Based out of Campbellsville, KY, the “heartland” of the state. The repairs are entirely free to the homeowner, should they qualify. The first qualification that needs to be met is to be low-income. Our guidelines are set according to state and federal limits, which vary by location and the number of people in the household. If you are interested in applying for home repairs, you must fill out a “Home Repair Application” available on the Web site. Then, after you have filled it out, you must send it in the mail to us. Once we have received the application, the evaluation process will begin.
