Service Description: Volunteers work in a variety of settings including Front Desk Patient Information, Emergency Dept., Outpatient, Ambulatory Surgery, Patient Mail, Critical Care Waiting, Gift Shop, and other CHC entities. Volunteer requirements include application, drug screen, two TB skin tests, Criminal Background Check, CHC Orientation, interview and references (no expense to volunteer). Commitment of at least 100 hours. Most volunteers come one half day per week. Summer Program Volunteer opportunities within the hospital for children ages 14-17; extended volunteer opportunities possible for those who have completed the summer volunteer program.
