Consumers are the individuals who have the mental illness. We utilize volunteers for all of our community events. Education is a number 1 goal of NAMI. We use NAMI Signature Programs like Family-To-Family. This is an Education Program, free, a 12 week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe brain disorders (mental illness). The course is taught by trained family members. All instruction and course materials are free for class participants. We are accepting family members who sign up now, contact Larry Gregory or Deborah Weed 270-796-2906. NAMI Bowling Green's goals of Support, Education, Research and Advocacy are on going.
