Cost: Membership fee is $30.00 per adult annually
Description: The historic mission of the NAACP is to fight for equality, justice, fairness for all people, regardless of race, color, creed, or religion. Diversity, education, and leadership are motivating factors that assist the Bowling Green/Warren County Branch in its efforts to work towards equal opportunity and equality in our community. To better serve Bowling Green and Warren County, we have the opportunity of utilizing our eighteen committees which consist of Communication, Press and Publicity, Community Coordination, Education, Finance, Freedom Fund, Health, Legal Redress, Membership and Life Membership, Political Action, Religious Affairs, Youth Work, Women in the NAACP (WIN), Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs, Economic Development, Housing, Labor and Industry, Prison Branch, and the Afro Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO). We are also working with our NAACP Chapter at Western Kentucky University to continue growing as a family.
