The WKU Hill House is a graduate assistantship program that gives an interdisciplinary team of four students the unique opportunity to apply their graduate coursework in community settings. Students are selected to live and work together at the Hill House, with a shared goal of building a strong local community and improving quality of life. Through community-based research and development projects, students gain an understanding of local issues and work to address them in partnership with others. Through the Hill House program, students learn the practical value of their academic training and apply it to strengthen communities locally and beyond.
