ACE Spring Conference 2014
Beech Bend Park is in need of volunteers for their ACE Spring Conference May 16th, from 7:00am-11:00pm. Ten to fifteen volunteers are needed and can work as many hours as wanted or stay the whole time. Volunteers are to help assist with games and activities. A volunteer meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15. All volunteers are required to attend. If you are interested, please contact Paul Blick at email@example.com or 270-782-59-64. F.O. Moxley Community Center
Volunteers are needed for the following programs:
After-School Program- help youth with homework, arts & crafts, games, and field trips.
- Dates: Monday -Friday (Now through May 23rd)
- Time: 2:30-6pm
- Program is for Kindergarten- 6th
Cince De Mayo- Assist with set up/ break down of event, and lead themed activities geared.
- Date: May 5th, 2014
- Time: 4:00pm- 5:00pm
- Program is for Kindergarten- 6th Grade
Youth Dodge Ball League- Referees, court monitors, and sign-in tables
- Dates: April 17th & 24th May 1st, 8th, & 15th
- Time: 5:30pm- 8:00pm
- Program is for ages 6-13
Children's Show of Collections- Assist with set-up, sign-in table, and break down of event.
- Date: April 26th
- Time: 9am-1pm
- Program is for ages 5-15
Camp In/ Camp Out- Assist with set-up, lead games/crafts, monitor sleep over, and break down of event.
- Date: May 9th & May 10th
- Time: 7pm-8am
- Program is for ages 5-13
Senior Adult Programs- Assist with crafts and seminars.
- Dates: April 10th and May 8th

This is a free soccer program for youth with special needs aged 4 and up that gives them the opportunity to play with peers of similar abilities. They are in need of volunteer "buddies" to help with events. TOP Soccer dates are April 17th, and 24th from 5pm-6pm at Lovers Lane Soccer Complex. Lost River Cave "Earth Day" Invasive Plant Pull
Date: April 19th
This will involve removing invasive plants from their forested park area. All volunteers will receive a ticket for a free boat tour. Preregistration forms will be available online at lostrivercave.com closer to the event. If you have any questions please contact Annie Holt at 270-393-0077.
Warren County Services Fair
The fair is to provide an opportunity for immigrant and refugee families to engage with various agencies and businesses that provide health, education, and other services to families throughout Bowling Green and Warren County.
Date: April 26th
Place: Cumberland Trace Elementary School
Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Help greet the families as they arrive at the school and assist them in filling out some simple forms with basic information.
- Help direct families to the various service providers.
- Assist Bowling Green Parks and Recreation facilitate activities for the children.
- Interpreters are also need. (Arabic, Swahili, Burmese, Napali, Somali, Spanish)
