National Volunteer Week

To celebrate to importance of service in the community, Western Kentucky University takes part in National Volunteer Week each year by coordinating projects on the WKU campus and surrounding area. National Volunteer Week is in the category of National Days of Service celebrated across the county. A week is designated in the month of April each year.

Purpose: The purpose is to stimulate and highlight student engagement efforts in the community by building awareness and providing opportunities to serve.
How You Can Help: We are always looking for sponsors to assist with paying for project supplies and other expenses. Businesses may also donate items to be distributed as door prizes for the week. If you are interested, please contact aurelia.spaulding@wku.edu.
