Ion Chromatography

The ion chromatography system is used to measure anion (fluoride, chloride, bromide, nitrate, phosphate, sulfate) concentrations in liquid samples. Solid samples may also be digested and analyzed using this system. The liquid sample is injected into the instrument where the anions are separated by a chromatography column. Detection is via a conductivity cell.

 Typical methods include

ASTM Method D 4208

EPA method 9056

 ion chromatography
