 calorimeter
 The calorimeter is used to measure the heating value of various solid materials. Approximately 1 gram of sample is loaded into a sample crucible. The crucible is loaded in the "bomb" vessel which is then pressurized with oxygen. The sample burns, releasing heat which is measured by the unit.
