Proceeds benefit the Young Alumni Council Scholarship Fund.

Race Information: The Homecoming Tower Climb is a race to the top of PFT!  27 stories tall, Pearce Ford Tower is the tallest building in Bowling Green and the tallest residence hall in the state of Kentucky. 

Do you have what it takes to make it to the top of the (roughly) 375 steps standing between the ground and the 360O view of WKU and Bowling Green?

 

Packet Pick-Up Information: Packets can be picked up Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. or Friday, October 31 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. in the
Augenstein Alumni Center Lobby. 
Packet pick-up will also be available beginning at 6:00 a.m. on race day near the starting line located behind PFT.

 

Awards: Awards are available for the overall Male/ Female, top finishers by age group, along with the Homecoming Spirit Awards: Best Dressed Male/ Female, Largest Group to participate, and Most School Spirit for a(n) Individual/Team!

 

Rules and Regulations:

  1. Runners will be placed based on their average mile time.  On race day, please line up according to your bib number. There will be markers to assist you in finding your spot.
  2. The stairwell is narrow, so please stay to the right and only use the left side to pass the person in front of you.
  3. There are no rules in regards to the use of the stairwell rails or skipping steps to propel you forward.  Please use caution around other racers.
  4. Volunteers will be located at the doorways of each floor of the stairwell.  If you need assistance, please notify them immediately.
  5. Do not stop in the middle of the stairwell to rest.  Only use a landing in between if there are no other racers present.
  6. Leaving the stairwell at any time automatically disqualifies you from finishing the race and you will be escorted out of the building.
  7. Race participants are not allowed to explore the building at any time during the race.  Volunteers will be stationed to help navigate the building.
