Bio

Jeff Katz, is the Dean and Professor of Management at Western Kentucky University’s GordonFord College of Business. He previously held the Edgerley Family Chair in Business andwas Associate Dean for Graduate Programs at Kansas State University’s College of BusinessAdministration. A former Fulbright Scholar, his teaching and research focus on globalcompetitors, strategic decision making and corporate governance. He has published over 50scholarly works in the area of global competition with a specific emphasis on the relationshipbetween company strategies and their impact on performance of the firm. Jeff obtained hisdoctorate in management from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of BusinessAdministration. He is a past president of the Midwest Academy of Management and has servedon the editorial boards of several journals in the field of management. He may be contacted atJeffrey.Katz@wku.edu.
