IRH Finalizes 5-Year Strategic Plan

The Institute for Rural Health (IRH) has finalized their Five-Year Strategic Plan for 2013-2017. Their two page executive summary focuses on 5 areas and the goals they hope to achieve. The staff members in IRH provide health and wellness and dental services as well as working on community outreach projects, grant opportunities, and research projects. Bingocize®, a successful, preventative health promotion program designed by Dr. Jason Crandall, Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport (KRS) in the College of Health and Human Services at Western Kentucky University (WKU)
As part of an ongoing campaign to raise awareness of antibiotic resistance, MPH capstone students from WKU’s Department of Public Health challenged local high school students to develop a video public service announcement to spread the message.
The Family and Consumer Sciences department at WKU is pleased to announce that it has received notice that the Interior Design Bachelor of Science degree has been granted accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
