Setting Up Your Accounts


We know that setting up accounts at WKU can be confusing. That’s why we’ve provided the following information to help you through the process. To take advantage of online services like Webmail, TopNet, and myWKU, you’ll need to know all of the account information below*:

Your WKU ID and PIN:

Your WKU ID (800#) is your main identification number at WKU and is printed and encoded on your WKU ID card. All students are issued a WKU ID upon application to the University. To look up your WKU ID, click here

Your NetID:

You can look up your NetID here. All students are issued a NetID and WKU Email Account within 24-48 hours after registration. This ID will provide you access to TopNet, Webmail, and myWKU. 

myWKU:
You can log in to myWKU here.

To log in use your NetID and password. myWKU will provide you access to your webmail, Topnet, Blackboard and other WKU services. 

*If you have problems setting up your email or locating your NetID, call our help desk at 270-745-7000.

Your Webmail account:

You can access your WKU email through the myWKU or at webmail.wku.edu. You can find your WKU Email account address here. As a student, you will receive official communications via your WKU email account, including administrative announcements, registration information, financial aid, and class information from your professors. It is very important that you maintain and check your WKU email account regularly!
