The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program prepares students for administrative and managerial careers in health services organizations in both private and public sectors. This 42-hour program at WKU offers coursework centered on preparing the students with practical knowledge.

It can be applied to functional areas of healthcare management including:

  • Hospitals
  • Long-term care
  • Insurance firms
  • Consulting
  • Sales

Why MHA@UPIKE?

After a number of years in practice, a growing proportion of physicians appreciate the need for understanding and applying the business principles of healthcare.

Many of these physicians seek opportunities to learn about the business model of health care but end up facing the challenge of dividing their time between studies and work.

MHA@UPIKE offers MHA classes to medical students at a pace that works best for their schedule during their medical or residency programs.
