Information for Guests
Spring 2014 Commencement Ceremony Schedules
Names of all degree candidates in attendance will be called during each ceremony, and the ceremony is expected to last approximately two hours.
Commencement participants and guests are strongly advised to plan their arrival with sufficient time to locate parking. Both parking structures will be available for parking. In addition, several parking lots are located within comfortable walking distance of Diddle Arena. Refer to the map of parking locations. A limited number of parking spaces will be reserved in the parking lot adjacent to Diddle Arena for individuals who possess a handicapped parking permit. The lot can be accessed from the Avenue of Champions.
Candidates for graduation will be seated on the floor of Diddle Arena. All seats for families and guests of the graduates are available on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that guests be seated 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony and enjoy the pre-commencement music.
Diddle Arena's accessible seating is located on the second level of the arena. One additional guest may accompany the attendee with a disability to this area. To assure accessible seating for all who need to be accommodated, we ask that other guests be seated near the accessible seating areas.
Commencement weekend will be very busy with other activities in the Bowling Green community. If overnight accommodations are necessary, it is recommended that reservations be made immediately. Local hotel information is provided by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.
Concession stands will be open on the second level of Diddle Arena prior to Saturday's
