WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks.

Dr. Ray joined the faculty in the Dept. of Communication in fall, 1991. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Wayne State University and a Master of Arts in Communication from Eastern Michigan University. She served as Department Head of Communication from 2000 until 2008. Prior to her tenure at WKU, she served as a Visiting Asst. Professor at the University of Louisville and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Kentucky. Her research interest is in the area of crisis and strategic communication. She is the author of Strategic Communication in Crisis Management: Lessons from the Airline Industry. She has served as Assistant Dean of Potter College of Arts & Letters since 2008.
