Advanced Excel II
Session Format:
One 4-hour session
Introduction
This is an extension of the Advanced Excel class specifically designed for employees who have the highest level of needs in excel software. Individuals taking this class should have either completed the Excel, Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced, or have a strong knowledge of the software.
Objectives
This course is designed to go beyond the Advanced Excel I class, and focus on specific topics such as functions, formulas and processes that Excel is capable of doing. Often participants are not aware that Excel has capabilities beyond the normal things that they use it for on a day to day basis. This will give participants the opportunity to learn new applications in Excel that they may be able to apply to their jobs.

The following is the proposed content for Excel II
- How to convert text to columns (if available)
- Work with scenarios (if available)
- Advanced sorts
- Data tables and consolidation
- Two value input tables
- Create a static webpage in Excel
- Using database functions
- The participant will also be using more advanced formulas
- Inserting Hyperlinks and objects
- Import and export between software programs
Who Should Attend
This seminar is intended for supervisors, managers, and mid-level managers who create spreadsheets on a regular basis and have need for additional tools not covered in advanced Excel.
(Prerequisite: Intermediate Excel and Advanced Excel 1)
