Dr. Jane Olmsted (ICSR 515, 525, & 590)
I’m the coordinator and advisor of the Social Responsibility & Sustainable Communities Master’s program, director of the Women’s Studies Program, and department head of Diversity & Community Studies, which houses those programs, along with African American Studies and Gerontology/Aging Studies. The SRSC is a cohort program, which means that our students move through the degree requirements together.
Dr. Judy Rohrer (ICSR 530)
Judy Rohrer is the Director of the Institute for Citizenship and Social Responsibility
(ICSR) and an Assistant Professor in Diversity and Community Studies at WKU. She earned
her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Hawai'i in 2005, and her B.A.
in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College in 1989.
Dr. Molly Kerby (ICSR 540)
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Diversity & Community Studies at
Western Kentucky University. I teach in the gender & women's studies program and I
am a faculty member in the new Masters of Arts in Social Responsibility and Sustainable
Communities (SRSC) degree program.
Dr. Tiara Na'puti (ICSR 540)
Tiara Na’puti is an Assistant Professor in Diversity and Community Studies at Western Kentucky University.
She is a member of the Chamoru diaspora from Guåhan (Guam), and is the granddaughter
of Ana Guerrero Naputi, familian Robat and Vicente Benavente Naputi,familian Kaderon.
Dr. John Baker (LEAD 500)
I am faculty member and the Education Coordinator in the Leadership Studies Program supporting the Center for Leadership Excellence at Western Kentucky University. I teach undergraduate and graduate leadership courses, conduct leadership seminars, and provide leadership education and training to off-campus constituents.
Dr. Eric Bain-Selbo (ICSR 510)
I’m the Department Head of Philosophy and Religion at Western Kentucky University and Co-Director of the WKU Institute for Citizenship and Social Responsibility. I’m also serving as the Executive Director of the Society for Values in Higher Education. My research spans across the disciplines of philosophy and religious studies, focusing primarily on social and political ethics and cultural criticism and teach the Perspectives on Social Justice course on a rotating basis.
