Online Learning refers to online semester–based courses taught via the Internet.
WKU offers more than 40 programs online at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels and over 1,000 courses each year. So whether you’re hoping to take a course or earn your degree online, Online Learning can help you meet your goals. We are here to help you succeed!
Independent Learning provides self-paced, non-semester based courses outside the traditional college classroom. These credit courses are offered via web, email, and mail.
You can register any day of the year and take as little as eight weeks or up to nine months to complete a course. With more than 100 courses from 30 different academic disciplines available, you are sure to find the course you need to fit your busy schedule and lifestyle.
The DL Testing Center provides proctored testing services to Distance Learning students. The Testing Center also assists WKU students in finding proctored testing sites near their homes and sends out exams to those testing facilities.
There are two testing center locations in Bowling Green to serve students, as well as testing locations at each of the WKU Regional Campuses in Elizabethtown/ Radcliff/ Fort Knox, Glasgow, and Owensboro.
The DELO Online Learning Research Office provides methodological, technical, programmatic, and financial support to faculty conducting research in the areas of online learning and online education.
