Beginning with the Spring semester of 2006, all students who register to take comprehensive exams for the Master of Arts in Education, emphasis Educational Administration, shall have completed all courses on their program of study or shall be enrolled in their final semester of required courses for the program.
Eligibility for the Comprehensive Examination
Graduate students are eligible to sit for the written exam after:
(1) Courses on their program of study have been completed or they must be enrolled in their final semester of required courses for the program. If they are enrolled in courses, they are required to have already successfully completed EDFN 500, EDAD 677, EDAD 682, EDAD 683, EDAD 684, and EDAD 690. If these courses have not been successfully completed, the student will be denied approval to sit for the comprehensive examination and will be informed by the Director of the Comprehensive Exams in writing prior to the exam.
(2) Form D has been completed, signed, and approved.
(3) An overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale or better has been achieved.
