David Beckworth is an assistant professor of economics at Western Kentucky University and former international economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and assistant professor of economics at Texas State University. He has done research on the measurement of monetary policy, the transmission mechanisms through which it works, and its impact on the global, national, and regional economies. He has published in journals such as Economic InquiryApplied Economics LettersJournal of MacroeconomicsJournal for the Scientific Study of ReligionCato Journal, and the North American Journal of Economics and Finance.
