Graduate students at Western Kentucky University pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied
Economics and who complete a subset of SAS designated courses earn a Tier 1 SAS Academic
Specialization in Economic Data Analytics. This credential recognizes their ability
to leverage SAS analytical tools for econometrics and statistics as part of their
preparation for employment in private and public sectors as economists, statisticians,
data scientists, and many other roles.
