Dr. Ronald Gallagher began his education in civil engineering with an interest in construction and architecture projects. He first worked as a hydrologist under contract with the US CORPS, Ohio DNR and FEMA doing several Flood Insurance Studies. After 3 years of consulting work he then was Assistant to full Professor at the University of Toledo in the Civil Engineering Technology and later the Construction Management programs. Also while at University of Toledo he was Adjunct Assistant Professor of Geology teaching 2 undergraduate courses and 2 graduate courses in the Department of Geology. From 2003 to 2006 he was a graduate student at the Missouri University of Science and Technology and was awarded a PhD in Geological Engineering in 2009. In 2010 he was licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a PE (Professional Engineer) and PS (Professional Surveyor).
