Bio
Lesa Dill received her B.A. from the University of North Alabama with majors in English and Art. She also received a K-12 teaching certificate before leaving North Alabama. She then traveled to Fayetteville, Arkansas to the University of Arkansas where she received her M.A. in English (linguistics) in 1981. She was awarded her Ph.D. in 1986 at the University of Georgia in Athens. Dr. Dill arrived at W.K.U. as an associate professor in 1987. She received as second Masters in Biology (Molecular Genetics) in 1996.
Currently, she is involved with Teaching English as a Second Language courses and the certificate and teaches courses in that program almost every semester.
Her life outside academia include gardening, painting and jewelry design. She is also a lover of murder mysteries and suspense novels. And she enjoys singing in one of Saint Joseph’s choirs
