Search and Screen Committee

 

A Search and Screen Committee should include a minimum of three people of at least 1 woman, 1 man and 1 minority (any individual who self-identifies as Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaskan Native, Asian, Black/African American, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander). In addition to employees affiliated with the department seeking to fill a vacancy, students and members of the community may also serve. Confidentiality is required; therefore, anyone who is not part of the hiring process for the specific position being advertised should not be provided with any information pertaining to the search (e.g. name or contact information of anyone who applied and strengths and weaknesses of anyone who applied).
