2012 Kentucky Educational Leadership Doctoral Symposium

About the Education Leadership Doctoral Programs

The Education Leadership Doctoral Programs were established across the Commonwealth to better prepare leaders across all facets of education to deal with the increasingly complex and ever changing challenges of today and the future. One of the most powerful tools leaders have at their disposal is networking, at the local, state and national levels.

The purpose of the Kentucky Educational Leadership Doctoral Symposium is to inform future leaders to better influence the educational status of Commonwealth by focusing on pressing educational challenges facing Kentucky and the nation, sharing best practice plans and strategies, and identifying research needs, opportunities and collaborations. The opportunities are focused on increasing the academic quality of WKU by developing strong graduate programs, specifically the doctoral program in educational leadership, that enhance institutional quality, enrich the undergraduate experience, and synergize the research, creative and scholarly activities of the faculty and staff.
