Deadline: Applications must be completed by May 15, 2012. The first twenty eligible applications are accepted.
Bowling Green, Ky. - Cardinals of Kentucky Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA), is funding
a special $2,000.00 scholarship through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Education Fund (SBMEF).
In order to be eligible for scholarship consideration, candidates must be women who: (1) are citizens of the United States and residents of Warren, Butler, Monroe, Barren, Edmonson, Simpson, Logan, Hart, Allen or Metcalf counties,Ky.: (2) will be college Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate level in Aug. 2012 :(3) are attending or have been accepted at a license, accredited Kentucky college or university authorized to confer degrees at the bachelor level or higher and, (4) have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale.
The application must be completed on line and requires a biographical sketch, three (3) professional letters of reference and an official transcript.

PNC Sweet 16 scholarship for KHSAA
PNC will again be awarding 32 one-time $1,000 scholarships as part of its title sponsorship of the Boys' State Basketball Tournament. One boy and one girl from each of the 16 basketball regions will be chosen and recognzed during this year's Boys' Tournament. Deadline for entry is Friday, Feb. 24. The application is now available on the KHSAA Website. There is no limit to the number of applicants from one school. This is open to all KHSAA Sports including Cheerleading and now Bowling.
