Many colleges and universities also have a Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) on their campus to help students in paying for their education. Also, if you decide to go into the military on full-time active duty, after your term is finished, the WKU Veteran's Upward Bound program (the only one in the state of Kentucky) can help with adjustment to college life as well as additional funding.
