How will I receive any refund or residual monies?
Select your university refund and payroll preferences.

Get Started Now! Visit RefundSelection.com to select your refund and payroll preference.

Western Kentucky University has partnered with BankMobile to deliver your refund. All refunds and payroll funds are disbursed into the account of your choice. For questions about the Refund Selection Kit, please contact the Card/Collections Office at (270)745-5551 or email wkudebitcard.questions@wku.edu.

When it comes to deciding how to get your money, just choose the best option that fits you.

  •  ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT

Money is transferred to another account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.

  • ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE ACCOUNT

If you open a BankMobile Vibe account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.

NOTE: The university will NOT issue residual/refund checks, so you MUST choose an option for receiving any refund due to you. The funds are sent from the university to BankMobile who then disburses the refunds according to the choice a student has made during the selection process.

These funds are to be used to help pay for other educational-related expenses such as books & supplies, transportation and off-campus living expenses. You should be sure to budget these funds so that they will last the entire semester.

When will my student refund be available?

Effective Spring 2016 and thereafter, disbursement of federal and state grants and loans will be delayed until after the end of the 100% drop add period.  Residuals for credit balances resulting from federal and state grants and loan disbursements will then be disbursed.  Non-title IV disbursement (scholarships) and the first residual process as a result of such credits, will still occur per the regular start of semester schedule.

To expedite the process, make sure you have selected your refund preference at RefundSelection.com
