The Kentucky Library and Museum, 2010
The Kentucky Library and Museum is a great source both for WKU graduate students and patrons. The Kentucky Museum has several ties to the Works Progress Administration and other important periods in public folklore. Student interns often work hand-in-hand with museum faculty on a variety of projects for the public. These projects may include cataloging new accessions, setting exhibits, cleaning or maintaining artifacts, and using the research tools in the Kentucky Library to build exhibits. KYLM is an asset to both WKU and Kentucky as a whole, and would be a great experience for any student interested in learning more about the daily maintenance of a small museum.
