Group Fitness Instructor Training
Our goal with this training is to equip you with the basic fundamentals to teach a group fitness class in a fun, interactive, and informative way. You will learn how the body works through basic anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology; the components of a group fitness class by learning proper cueing, form and technique, music selection, and choreography. The Group Fitness Instructor Training workshop will give you the basic tools and knowledge to prepare for not only a national certification but will be essential for your audition to become an IM-REC Group Fitness Instructor.
Dates: September 5th & 19th from 12:30-4:30PM
*Participants MUST attend both days!
Location: Preston Center Dance Studio
Register in the Health & Fitness Lab on the first floor of the Preston Health & Activities Center just past the
women's locker room.
