My Role in the Honors College
My job deals mainly with prospective Honors College students. I process applications and input information of high school/current WKU students who apply. I also do a bit of scanning, phone calling, and other miscellaneous fun activities!
I graduated from Frankfort High School in 2010. I am a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Global Health.
Hobbies and Interests
I love to learn new things and meet new people. My hobbies include reading, dancing, cooking, and traveling. I also enjoy spending time with friends and playing with cats.
What brought me to the HC
My first reasons for applying to the Honors College mainly had to do with perks (specifically, honors housing). Little did I know that becoming a student of the Honors College would be one of the best decisions of my life. My Honors College experiences have allowed me to grow so much as an individual and a student, enhanced and enriched my love of learning, and given me some of the greatest friends I've ever known. I love being able to give back to the college through my job and duties as an HonorsTopper.
A little about myself
I love WKU and everything about this university (especially the Honors College!). I have been an H4 Counselor, and am currently an HonorsTopper. I am also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, and I love the opportunities these organizations have given me. I like to think of myself as a forever-smiling, optimistic being. I love to laugh and make others do so. My dream job would be one that involves helping people and traveling. I have been to Costa Rica, Quebec, and parts of Europe, and can't wait to see the rest of the world one day!
