Coordinator of Constituent Relations

My Role in the Honors College

As CCR, I serve current students as adviser to the Honors Club as well as planning Honors College special events like Picnic with the President and Barbecue with the Professors. I also assist with H4 for incoming freshmen.

I also work with alumni of the Honors College at WKU, as well as parents of current students to find ways to stay active within the College.  I serve as adviser to the Honors College Parents' Association and Parents' Advisory Council.

Educational Background

I graduated from WKU in May 2008 with a BA in English, literature concentration and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication.

Hometown

My father was Air Force personnel, so I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada but I consider Bowling Green my home.

Hobbies and Interests

My husband and I take great pride in working to restore and remodel our very first home here in Bowling Green. I also love to read anything I can get my hands on and am currently trying to teach myself to be a better cook and baker.

What Brought Me to the HC

The Honors College provides great opportunities for students at WKU and I am honored to be a part of that.  The HC is a wonderful community; to be back at WKU and working with such a great group is amazing!

A Little About Myself

I truly enjoy lazy days at home with my husband and two cats- Elrohir and Elladan (named after the famous sons of Elrond from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy).  I love baking and trying new recipes.
