The deadline for submission of H4 2013 Directional Leader applications is February 5, 2013.

Please note: H4 2013 will take place August 13-18, 2013.

NOTE- If applicants are not selected for a directional leader position, they will automatically be considered for a H4 counselor position.

The H4 Directional Leader application includes information about your Honors College and WKU involvement, previous H4 experience (if applicable), and essays.  The essay topics are as follows.

• In your opinion, how does the position of Directional Leader differ from the position of counselor?  What qualifies you to be a directional leader?  Please be as specific as possible.
• What lasting impressions would you want to leave on an H4 participant?
• We ask our campers to "begin their journey" at H4.  How will you use your own experiences, triumphs, and even missteps to help guide your campers and fellow counselors?  Please be as specific as possible.
• One of WKU's ideals can be found on our seal- "Life, more life." What does this phrase mean to you and your Honors College experience at H4?

 

Please note that an interview with Honors College H4 staff is also included in the application process.  In addition to the online application and recommendation, applicants must participate in a 10-15 minute interview.  The interview is mandatory for completion of your application.  Dates and times for interviews will be released with the application.
