Matt Atkinson, BSN, RN completes ACLS Certification

Matt completed ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) re-certification on April 19th. He is required to complete training every 2 years to maintain his certification. The certification is designed for healthcare providers who directly participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Certification ensures that participants have proved their skills in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
ACLS is provided by the AHA (American Heart Association).
