WKU Health Services is (WKUHS) happy to announce that Shontè Pratt has accepted the position of IT Support Technician, effective January 2, 2013.
Shontè has worked at WKUHS since June 2009, in the capacity of IT Student Worker. Assuming the role of IT Support Technician will allow him to leverage that experience, along with his education, to increase his participation in health information technology (HIT) issues at WKUHS. This will help WKUHS to meet the needs of its patients while allowing Shontè to gain pertinent experience as he pursues his career goals in HIT.
Shontè is married with three children. He has a AA in CIS and is currently completing classwork toward a Systems Management degree, with a concentration in Healthcare Informatics, at WKU.
