Fireside Chat

Fireside Chat is a nutrition series developed to meet the nutritional needs of students sponsored by WKU Health Services, WKU Restaurant & Catering Group, and WellU. Students gather around the fireplace in the lobby of WKU Health Services for a casual discussion about maintaining nutritious eating habits led by the Registered Dietitian for WKU Restaurant and Catering while enjoying a healthy snack and cup of hot chocolate. This series occurs October through February.

This program is free to all WKU students.
All sessions are held in the Health Services Lobby on Mondays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm

November 4th The Hidden Truths About "Healthier" Foods If it's low-fat or reduced-sugar, it must be healthier, right? Not always. Get the facts on food labels and products that might not be living up to your expectations.

November 18th
Groceries on a Budget Learn to get the most bang for your buck at your next trip to the grocery store with tips for choosing, buying, and storing healthier foods.
