|Date: Friday, July 25th, 2014||Return to Archive|
No new traffic impacts are expected the week of July 28th - August 1st. Travelers may see an increase in construction traffic in the area. All detours are still in place so please reduce your speed and use caution in the area.
NOTE: The intersection will close completely in early August to finish the project. The exact date will be determined next week. Weather permitting, the completed intersection is expected to re-open at approximately noon on Aug 8th.
As a reminder, when the roundabout opens, Chestnut Street will operate as a “right in – right out” intersection with Nashville Rd. Chestnut Street will be accessible only as a right hand turn for southbound traffic on Nashville Rd. Vehicles on Chestnut Street will only be able to make a right hand turn onto Nashville Rd.
All schedules are subject to change. For the most up to date information, visit the KYTC District 3 website. You may also contact Wes Watt, Public Information Officer at Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, at 270-746-7898 ext. 275 for more information.
If you would like assistance from PTS in helping guests reach campus during these closures, please contact Scot Henry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
